Juniors Club Competition Overview

 

Criteria for Juniors entering competitions.

Category 1 (handicap 0 to 5)

All category 1 juniors’ members are eligible to enter all men’s competitions with no restrictions.

Category 2 and above.

All juniors in category 2 and above will not allowed to be entered into the men’s competitions, but there will be a separate junior competition running alongside for category 2 players and above with a separate junior Prize awarded.

The only exception to this rule is the Club Championship where category 2 players will be allowed to compete for the gross prize.

There will be standalone junior competitions organised during the year where all juniors will be eligible to play.

All juniors playing in the competitions that run alongside the men’s must be accompanied by at least 1 Adult member in their group and there must be no less than three players in total.

This rule does not apply to Junior only competition’s which are organised during school holidays etc. where only juniors are allowed to play.

Pairs Competition’s

Junior with Handicaps of 9 and below can enter a pair’s competition providing they are partnering an Adult member.

All juniors playing in the competitions that run alongside the men’s must be accompanied by at least 1 Adult member in their group and there must be no less than three players in total. This rule does not apply to Junior only competition’s which are organised during school holidays etc. where only juniors are allowed to play.
