It is an honour and a privilege to become captain of Atherstone Golf Club, and I am committed to upholding its traditions and values.
I will, together with your Board of Directors, work hard to deliver a first-class golfing experience for all our members.
My project this year will be to raise funds to enable the Club to improve the area around the first tee and will launch a number of initiatives to help achieve this goal. I sincerely hope that all members will support these initiatives, as the more money we raise, the more we can achieve.
Finally, I take great pleasure in confirming that my Vice Captain will be Keith Smitham, and Adele Barlow will continue as Ladies Captain.
Thank you all for your support, best wishes and good luck for the golfing year ahead.
