Good Day All,
Well the long awaited return to the Golf is nearly upon us and thank goodness for that. Its been a tough twelve months for everyone and our hearts goes out to all of those families who have been affected by the pandemic. We are now hopeful with the vaccine roll out, that we shall start to return to some sort of normal life, but i would think it will take a some time before we go back to life as we knew it before this pandemic arrived. The golf club has come through these tough and uncertain times in a strong position and we very much looking forward to a exciting future for the club and with the appointment of Head Green-keeper Rob who has already made positive impact on the course in a short time, and we are so looking forward to seeing the course improve over the coming months and years. However when we do return to playing the course Monday, please remember its early days in the season and it will take a few more weeks and warm weather for us to see course get to it s best, but be rest assured Rob and his team of Nick, Dave and Martin will be working flat out to achieve this.
We do hope now that there will be no further lock downs and we all must play our part in ensuring the safety of everyone at the club so can we please ask to observe all social distancing rules in place and continue to follow the golfing guidelines displayed at the club. Please remember that the locker rooms are only in use for toilet facilities only and no clubs or shoes should be left in them until the 12th April when they will be reopened. The clubhouse and the Patio will remain closed but Mark and Sara will be doing take-way options from the kitchen, but can we ask for all members to maintain social distancing at all times
Tee times available for up to 4 players 5 days in advance and any members wishing to bring any guests can we ask you to prepay before arriving at the club. Also buggies will be allowed and can be booked and paid via Mark or Phil on 01827 713110.
So now the fun begins trying to get your golf games back into shape and hopefully you will have a successful season, but remember Golf is all about the taking part, enjoying the views and spending time with your fellow friends at the club
