Captains Blog – May 2022

I hope you are well and enjoying your golf at AGC.

May came and went with the weather improving and certainly our course is now as spectacular looking has it always is, I think all of us will agree that Rob along with his team have certainly put in a lot of hard work to transform the fairways and greens,.

Last blog did mention this but can I again thank Neil Smith & Mark Youson and their team of volunteer’s for the hard work done laying down and removing the sheets to help with removing those leather jackets, I do know that Dave Woods chickens appreciated their dietary addition.

Just a reminder that on 14^th June we are re-starting the members draw and stableford comps on a Tuesday.

18^th June our family fun day and captains drive are taking place, Tony O’Dee will be singing from 5:30 pm.

Phil will be putting up sheets for players to participate in this years Tripartite, we also need volunteers’ for 7^th July when we will be hosting The Hodge & Rose Bowl competitions.
