Winter League Rules 2023/2024

Admission Fee = £30 per pair.

Stroke Allowance = 90% of the Difference from Lowest Slope Allowance Player.

All Games Played to a Conclusion.

Single Players Can Only Lose 1 Down.

All Scores Must be Entered on Fixtures Sheet in Locker Room.

Only Scores Entered on Fixtures Sheet will be Recorded.

Any Match Without a Score Recorded will be Deemed to be a Half.

Substitutes are Allowed, Only One Per Pair, Two Substitutes Cannot be Used in a Game.

A Substitute Cannot Play Alone.

Substitutes Can only be Used in 50% of League Fixtures.

If a team doesn't make their tee-off time, opposition must tee off at allocated time and play the holes until the team turns up. Each hole completed will be counted as a win. If opposition fail to turn up after 10 holes score will be recorded as a 1up victory.

If a team know in advance they will be unable to play a game, they can award their opposition three points without playing any golf

All New Partnerships will Start in Their Respective Lowest Division.

A Change Of Partner will Class Partnership as New and Therefore will Start in Their Respective Lowest Division.

A Change of Partner Due to a Medical Suspension of Membership Shall be Allowed With Permission of the Competition Committee.

A Change of Partnership Due to Previous Partner Leaving Club Shall Retain Status Within Divisions

In The Event of Inclement Weather Fixtures Postponed will Automatically be Played the Next Available Week.


Top Three Teams in Each Division Shall be Promoted where Applicable.

Bottom Three Teams Shall be Relegated where Applicable.

In the event of weather causing any division not to be concluded all remaining games will be deemed a half.

If HM Government impliment a Covid closure of the golf course AGC board will review league status.
