A MATURE GOLF COURSE IN WARWICKSHIRE
On March 20th 2010 Atherstone Golf Club held a open competition to honour one of our clubs finest players Ron Hiatt. Truda Thornton the 2009 Ladies Captain organised the Shamble's competition which was a shot gun start. The weather was a little unpredictable and the competitors had to endure some very heavy showers, but even this could not dampen the teams spirits.
Gathering in the clubhouse after the competition the result was announced with the winning team amassing a great score of 109 points, one point ahead of second and third place. After the prizing giving there was some extra special presentations made to the man himself Ron Hiatt.
