The qualifying for the 2023 Champion of Champions Tournament begins and all winners of any of the clubs singles or pairs Honours Board competitions during the 2023 season will be invited to play in the end of season Champion of Champions tournament which will take place October 2023 with the winner to receive the Rob Challis Salver. The event will be followed by a Champions dinner in the evening to present all the winners their trophys in our annual prize presentation. We are trying to make winning a club competition a special event and hopefully the annual prize presentation will become a must attend evening in the club calendar in which we recognize all the good golf played during the season and present all the seasons winners with their trophies followed by 1st class entertainment. Winners will also have the opportunity of inviting guests for the evening dinner to celebrate their achievements with them.
Conditions of Competition
a) The tournament shall be played by stroke play over 18 holes with full handicap allowance with an entry fee of £5 per player
b) The winner shall be the competitor who returns the lowest nett score.
c) In the event of tie for first place, there will be a 3 hole playoff, holes to be decided by the championship committee.
Entry Qualification
a) The tournament is open to any members who have won an official board club competition during the season.
b) If the winner is unable to compete, substitutes will not be allowed
c) Winners of the pairs events will also be included into this singles event.
